We all have values, even if we don't write them down. Values define who we are and the direction we go. For us, the Bible determines what we value. Our values centre around three big priorites, captured by our 3 E's:
We Enjoy Jesus
This means we...
- Treasue Jesus in all of Life, delighting in the glory and worth of Jesus as our greatest priority and joy Psalm 73:25-26, 2 Cor 3:18 and 4:6, John 4:10-14
- Delight in God's Word, upholding Scripture as our ultimate standard and seeking to live it out Psalm 19:7-11, Luke 6:46-48
- Pursue Gospel Transformation, our lives daily being shaped in the likeness of Jesus as we grow together to know Him more 2 Peter 1:3-11, Titus 2:11-14
We Equip Disciples
This means we...
- Share Life, welcoming, loving and serving each other, growing together in community Heb 10:24-25, Rom 15:7, Eph 4:1-2
- Live on Mission, serving to meet needs in the community, showing the love of Christ and sharing the gospel among people around us who dont know Him John 13:34-35, Luke 19:10, Mark 10:42-45
- Invest in Life on Life Discipleship, equipping disciples personally and intentionally for their maturity and multiplication 2 Tim 2:2, Php 3:17, Acts 4:13
We Engage the World
This means we...
- Prioritise Kingdom-centred unity and Gospel Partnerships in the wider church John 17:20-23, Php 2:1-5
- Send out mature and equipped disciples to reach the unreached, strengthen churches and plant new churches in needy places near and far Matt 9:35-38, Acts 13:1-3, Matt 28:18-20
- Embrace ethnic diversity, reflecting God's heart for all nations and His church, and in obedience to the Great Commission Jesus gave us Rom 10:12-15, Rom 15:20-21, Rev 5:9
